I find this really cute and precious and slightly disturbing. "Princess be gone" very useful solution to getting rid of princess games.

This is actually a pretty fun game. Surprised by the box-art though. It would make you think it was another shovelware game, but fortunately it isn't.

I might try this out, even though, as a middle aged male, I find myself feeling like a pretty pretty princess less and less by the day.

No, it's made by CAVE. You might know them from the awesome Ketsui Death Label for the DS or the countless other great shooters they made.
If i had to decide to play only games from one company for the rest of my life, it would be CAVE. ^^
You're thinking of Natsume, but they only published the game in the US.
