The fate of the earth and the survival of the human race hang in the balance in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: AUTOBOTS and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: DECEPTICONS for the Nintendo DS. Gamers get to choose to protect the earth as AUTOBOTS or destroy it as DECEPTICONS, embarking on a journey where every second and every choice makes the difference between mankind’s salvation and annihilation. Take On TRANSFORMERS from Around the Globe - Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection allows players to help their side win the epic battle by engaging in global "AUTOBOT vs. DECEPTICON" competitions through downloadable challenge missions. Play as Your Own Personalized TRANSFORMERS Robot - For the first time, players can customize their own TRANSFORMERS robot with a modular body part system. Throughout the game, players have the ability to scan objects to unlock new parts and upgrade their character by installing new unlockable parts in the Medical Bay as they progress through the game. Diverse Missions and Locales - Players will drive, fly and fight their way through over 25 single player levels across different world locations as they fight to decide the fate of the human race as the AUTOBOTS or DECEPTICONS. Battle With Friends - Players can challenge friends to intense, head-to-head battles through local wireless multiplayer in Deathmatch mode

Looks intriguing, I was waiting for the game. Actually, I prefer movie tie-ins on the PSP, but the PSP version was pure crap, both graphics and gameplay. Especiaaly the graphics which is a crime on the platform boasting its horesepower. The DS version definately looks much more promising by the platform standarts- first of all graphically, and the WFC support is also intriguing. Gonna try and post impressions.

agreed, my brother had that game and he told me, bro, have a look at this game, and i did, and all i can say is wow, its so obvious they rush through the development, it was lame to say the least, i could last more than 1/2 hour

i've played it and so far some parts are WTF worthy and some parts are AwesomeSauce worthy
i can't judge much yet (i've only played thru to the third stage)
so far :
Pros :
-Better Graphics
-Equipable weapons
-2 weapons at a time
-Customizable body parts (although not visible)
-nice first 3 cars (at least IMO)

Cons :
-No free Roaming
-You only get to choose 3 cars then your stuck with it
-No Weaponry when as a car (unlike the last where you could shoot and ram enemies)
-Touch Only World Map (Stage Select)
-Somewhat Harder levels (maybe a pro for some people)

I am an hour or so in the game and I definately like it so far

Very solid 3D, nicely detailed environments, some voice included.... I like the autobot development feature, which im my taste makes the game very action-RPG like and its very welcome. Not to mention the cool ability to transform to cars and the dogfight stages with the F-22. Didnt try the online mode yet, but it looks pretty solid as well, not your usual leaderboards. Overall, I really like the polish and effort put in by Vicarious Visions. The PSP version lack them severely.

Is there anyone who has tried the WFC already?
