If anyone tries it anytime soon, please tell me if the save system is updated. In that case I might give this game a chance. But I think I won`t after all..it was boring, repetative and hard to play considering the save system.

A better save system is apparently added to the Europe version though I can't find a source to where I read this.

I actually enjoyed this game my only problem was that the levels were kinda generic and at times a little samey. I actually liked that I couldn't save all the time, made the game more of a challenge.

Both the Europe and Japan version have an updated save system, IIRC it's got some more checkpoints like for instance in front of a boss and such. It was mentioned numerous times in Jools Watsham's Vlogs, that's where I know it from at least.
