I checked out some footage on youtube. Looks like there are only 4 characters (one for each element or something) and it doesn't seem rhythm based >_>

It looks like the combo system is rhythm based, or at least it's dressed up like it is. It doesn't seem to be purely a 1 on 1 fighting game, there appear to be parts where you are fighting multiple enemies in a side scrolling level. That part looked sort of like Guardian Heroes.

I hope this game doesn't suck, I like this sort of thing.

Just played it, there seems to be a story mode where you wander around talking to people and doing... stuff, I guess. I couldn't tell what was going on. Lots of text.

I did find an option to just fight a match, but I got my ass handed to me because I couldn't read any of the stuff about how to play.

The graphics are nice though.

from the trailers, looks to be too complicated to try, but I want to try another fighter. It looks like its going to feel like JUS but your combos are based on timings of the buttons? I don't know I'll try later and see how it is...

So far the little I've played it
Y and A attack.
B to jump.

R is to guard.
L starts a beat combo then hit Y quickly depending on the beat. If successful you'll do a whoop ass combo attack.
It's important to get the timing correctly though. Also something about pressing UP on Dpad.

BP (beat points) you can construct customized beat combos.
BP Graph

edit: after playing this more I've come to a couple of conclusions

• If you can't read Japanese this will be a frustrating experience for sure
• This is a mediocre game at best but to me I'll give it a pass.
