Gaming DragonBall Kai Ultimate Butouden Discussion Thread

Well seeing this is a fairly new game and probably the best NDS Fighting game I wanted to make a Discussion thread just so everyone can help each other out, seeing it's in Japanese...

Hi, is a great game, the best fighting for the NDS and the A-18 with Lunch costumes = WIN

Do you know the infinite with A-18 and A-17? :

there are already 4 threads for this game: the release thread, Elza's translation, Kosheh's translation and the hype one. There's no need for another since people already discuss the game on them. The hype thread could be renamed to discussion though.

I thought Kai was not in the original Dragon Ball series, and if I recall correctly, neither was he a Dragon Ball.

Could someone please explain this to me?

I uhm don't know what you are talking about actually, it seems you are mistaking Kai as a person? And what do you mean "Neither was he a dragon ball"? You probably mean IN dragonball?

The Kai series is actually a remastered and recut version of DBZ, where they also left out the fillers and rerecorded the dialogs, better image quality in 16:9 etc.
It's not a person.

there's Kaio-sama, or King Kai. That bluish guy that trains Goku in the afterlife before the Sayan battle. And yes, he is a playable character in the game.
