It looks like it's definitely coming to NA, but I highly, HIGHLY doubt that's it's going to get here by October, regardless of whatever photo was sent to VegettoEX. I could be wrong, but I'd be very surprised.

As for it being a waste to have worked on it, I'm sure it was still a good learning experience / practice for everyone involved. Silver linings, folks, silver linings.

Ace Attorney 6 came out 2 months after the Japanese version, and that's mainly because they had the localization working on it before the game released in Japan, and the fact that Capcom is putting 100% of their effort on that game. Bandai has many other priorities that they're working on, so they wouldn't localize this game for months.

I'm guessing now that it's actually confirmed that this game is getting a localization soon this project is officially trashed?
It's not confirmed, there's been no official announcement. It showed up on a Brazilian rating website that lists official game ratings for that region, and then someone sent a photo to VegettoEX at Kanzenshuu which they claim shows a leaked October release date on Walmarts employee inventory system.

Uh it's been confirmed at TGS2016. Some gamestops and other game stores are already taking preorders now.

Yes they announce American releases sometimes there.
Do you have a source for this? After googling, I can only find mention of them showcasing the Japanese game at TGS.

I would be stoked if we're really getting the game and it's coming out in October, but I don't want to get my hopes up from rumors

Yes this project is dead if the localization is coming so soon.
Maybe we could do a localization of yokai watch 3 instead since that game will be a while to come out since yokai watch busters will come out probably middle to post 2017.

The team'd be better off translating something that's, beyond a shadow of a doubt, confirmed of not coming overseas, like Theatrhythm Dragon Quest, Time Travelers, Gaist Crusher God, E.X. Troopers, etc.

@Xdqwerty, Its funny because crypto cannot be recovered, just another one of those Nigerian scams that ask you for a Google Play giftcard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBs0AG_MN3g

@SylverReZ, why are most scams from mid-east countries?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I've reported the domain directly to their registrar so that they can take action. ;)

@Xdqwerty, To be fair, I have no idea.

Likely because they are not as economic compared to us.

@SylverReZ, so their only way of getting money is thru scams?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Exactly.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Why not they just mine Monero instead of scamming vulnerable people? If they have a decent machine they can hit a jackpot at any given time.

Bitcoin on the other hand, requires a very powerful mining rig and is more costly.

@SylverReZ, different cultures so probably they have their reasons

    Yes a $2,000 rig for $5 a day

@Xdqwerty, Or could be in correlation to laws.

Technically, cryptocurrencies aren't illegal, as long as you don't use it for criminal activity. If you sign up with an exchange, and that they get a tip from law enforcement, they have the right to freeze your assets.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, Yea I heard law is vastly different there
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Nigeria's central bank did make crypto illegal before, until last year they lifted the ban. Always make sure to check before you exchange. ;)

@SylverReZ, speaking of crypto i remember reading about a guy who spend like 10 grand bitcoin on a couple pizzas (when bitcoin wasnt as worthy as nowadays)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's mental. If he had saved up when Bitcoin sky-rocketed in price, then he might've become the next Jeff Bezos for all I know.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, he couldnt know the price was gonna skyrocket anyway
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Then it dropped sometime in 2022, 2021 was when it really went up in price.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, I also recall watching a video of some failed games with their own crypto currency or smth like that, lemme link it to you (it's in spanish tho)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I remember that. Didn't Steam ban games with NFTs before somehow devs managed to circumvent it? Think EA tried to dabble in NFTs too.
