I'm glad you like it.The second patch might be the last one since most things have been already translated, including menus, tutorials, skills and items.Jax said:Thanks!
You're so awesome for doing this!

It's an emulator's problem.cosmiccinema said:I keep getting this when trying to load the game patched and the original.

It's strange. On R4 it works fine.cosmiccinema said:laurozza said:It's an emulator's problem.cosmiccinema said:I keep getting this when trying to load the game patched and the original.

Also happens to my DS, although I used the emulator to screenshot the problem. I will try darthnemesis's response but i'm not sure what i need to change the extension to.

JDandy said:Hey Noitora, is it me or do you love starting translation projects, getting up to a certain point, and then start doing ANOTHER game, completely forgetting about the previous project.
Like you did with, say, Mugen no Frontier, Bleach and Fire Emblem DS.
It's nice you want to give something to the people by translating games, but do you know what would ALSO be nice? A complete project, instead of a handfull of 60-90% projects.

This game is getting an english release, so it only needs to be a small amount of stuff to make the experience more enjoyable.
Did you seriously register just to complain about this? You should be glad that he even does anything, and a large number of menu translations make a lot of games playable. I can't believe the absurd sense of entitlement some people have when people are putting a great deal of effort into doing you a big favor, for free.JDandy said:Hey Noitora, is it me or do you love starting translation projects, getting up to a certain point, and then start doing ANOTHER game, completely forgetting about the previous project.

Entitlement? Did I ask for/demand anything? Tell him what to do? NO. Merely stating my opinion is all. Way I see it, if people can make an 8-page thread about "WHEN IS LINERIDER 2 GOING TO BE DUMPED", I get to throw my 2 cents at anyone I like.
And as for "putting a great deal of effort into doing you a big favor, for free";
-of course it's free, you think I (or any sane person) would pay for a translation project on a (free) ROM?
-I would appreciate a "big favor". It's the doing-me-a-favor-kinda-halfway I fail to appreciate

Yes, entitlement. You fail to appreciate the effort he's putting into these projects to benefit others, and then you chastise him for not finishing projects with that rude attitude? HE DOESN'T OWE YOU ANYTHING. You are not in any position to complain. If you want those projects to be finished then by all means offer to help, but the only thing you offer is sarcastic criticism? You've got some nerve.JDandy said:Entitlement? Did I ask for/demand anything? Tell him what to do? NO. Merely stating my opinion is all. Entitlement; someone's belief that he/she is deserving of some particular reward or benefit.
-I don't want anything. I haven't even played any of his past projects (save MnF, but that was really Donryu's hard work).
Fail to appreciate the effort? I know I couldn't do anything Noitora could do, and I know it's an effort.
Chastise him for not finishing projects? BINGO.
Third page. Fire Emblem Ds Thread. 42nd page. Last post; Is this translation project dead. 20th september.
Last post by anyone working on the project; Somewhere round page 36 in august.
Damn straight he doesn't owe me anything. I could care less about these particular games. I'm just trying to make a point; finish what you started before you move on, or outright put it on hiatus.
I'd start spouting some tired and cliché crap about freedom of speech and opinion to prove that I am free to complain all I want, but you can imagine that yourself.
Nerve? Sorry for stating my opinion without asking the man to actually DO anything.

Why don't you try translating a game for a change? Or maybe you want to make a full translation of a game to show us how it should be done.
As for the things you say, it's obvious you don't have the slightest idea of what it takes to translate a game. You're only a selfish and arrogant guy. You got mad 'cause you can't play fireemblem, bleach or any other games that Noitora made a little more playable. Well there's a complete translation for the fire emblem nes game... i bet there's even a guide for fire emblem on ds.
Why don't you try that instead of making us wasting our time with you.

Of course it's not aimed at me. This isn't about me at all. Yes yes it's his choice to not finish a game, of course. But announce that. Don't just LEAVE the project hanging *cough*fireemblem*cough*.
As for the be-happy-anyone does this at all part; Why should I be happy. Would you be happy if someone gave you half the subtitles of a movie?
It made part of it more enjoyable, didn't it?
