Hacking DQ5 Codes on M3DS Real

I've already read that i have to patch it via DSATM but what am i supposed to write into the cheat.txt file and which options (like Trainer / ARM7 Fix) do i have to mark?

The main cheat i need is the max token cheat.

In your case, the text file should say simply:

You'll need to press SELECT to activate the cheat for the medals.

It's the code I've been using all this time and I've had no problems using Sakura 1.34.

I just started a new game again just to test the code, and it works. But if the code you use works too, awesome!

update: gave it another try with the newest cheat.db database doesn't work (coudn't get off the boat)
unless u re using 1.34 with 4.2e system files...mine is 4.2d from the original download M3Sakura Ver1.34 X The 2nd Edition Europe/USA Version

You know what, now that I think of it, we're probably both right.

I keep forgetting that I'm using a Japanese M3 Real with the Japanese version of Sakura 1.34. The Chinese/Japanese versions of 1.34 are fully-working, but for some reason the US/European version is just a beta release with bugs that aren't present in the Asian firmware.

Maybe the codes work for me because I'm using the Japanese firmware. I wouldn't know if it doesn't work for the US one because I don't have mine with me to test it.

Anyway, sorry for the confusion.

Try using this code with DSATM: CODE

Then go to the casino, and press SELECT to get 999999 gold. Use the money to buy tokens.
