Hacking Downloadplayhax?

Recently I played CTGP with my friend, him using download play with an unshacked 3ds. The cia for CTGP was not using NTR, but was just a cia for the game. Would it be possible to implement download play into something like FBI, and install CFW on an unshacked 3ds? Just a thought.

The 3DS checks the signature of the DLP application, so that will not be possible.
CTGP-7 uses the original MK7 DLP application, while sending modified track/other data, so that's the reason why CTGP-7 DLP works.
We would need to find exploits in DLP applications to run unsigned code.

3DS's refuse to run anything that's not signed. That's why we have CFW: to allow running things that are not signed.

cant run unsigned stuffs on a legit console.
let alone use use it to install something to nand.

yeah its pretty unfortunate, but if you had the permissions to run unsigned content via download play, it would make the proccess kinda redundant.

Trust me if it were that easy it would have already been done.
The devs working on the 3ds aren't stupid. If that were at all possible they would have done something with it.
