Hacking Download play

Does anybody know how they got this to work? Does it have something to do with the on-the-fly patching? And do you have to turn off soft reset to make download play work on latest kernel 1.11?

Yes, download play can work with or without soft reset.

Yes, all the download play games work now with the new R4 v1.11 update.

Mario Kart has been confirmed. I'm pretty sure it's 100% download play.

This is great news. I kinda figured it would be possible to do this being that there are a few others that do this and it was just an issue in the firmware. I'm downloading now...

too bad i just sold my R4...i couldnt test it for you. but everyone is confirming it works.
