Hi I seem to have a problem with download play on racing games. I Tried Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Kart and they both get blank screens after I hit cut off. I was able to play Super kirby ultra and bomberman, with no problems at all. I have two ds lites and Akaio 1.8.5 and all the settings are default.

So I take it either nobody knows the answer or you guys are ignoring it because it has already been answered, and if this is the case just show me where, thanks.

I read somewhere, I think one of The Cat Boy's posts, that if you go to the individual ROM settings choose ENABLE 'download play' and DISABLE 'bypass AAP' it should work. Something about having download play and AAP on at the same time screws up.

In AKAIO 1.8.1, AAP was designed to break download play in order to bypass AP. However in 1.8.2, a new AAP system was rendered, allowing you to bypass AP and still have download play. This feature was carried into 1.8.5 but it is possible that some adjusts were made to prevent bricking which was the problem on 1.8.2. It is possible that the AAP code to not break download play isn't perfect and it isn't that big a deal anyway, just disable whenever you have that problem.

Personally, I have AAP disabled on all games and enable it only if I need to.

Well I tried running both with nothing but download play on and both of them still just gave the blank white screen with the nintendo logo

I had this problem with 1.8.5a until I downloaded the latest loaders. Problem sorted!
