a friend of mine got weird problems:
he succesfully installed arm9+luma, but cant inject h&s.
already tried : 1) godmode9 and move uppercase\lowercase tmd\app in another folder.
2) defragment ctrnand ( with osfmount and Defraggler), but got some bad sectors
NWDlOr4_fbc.jpg
so decided dont risk with that one.

so question is: is there 3 method for installing fbi.cia ?
( in current moment he havent had entrypoint for homebrewlauncher, because he is on 11.2, so hbl+minipasta+fbi not an option =( )

upd. he got his nandmin ( with sys 4.5)
can we try to:
restore 4.5 ( with al9h)-> ctrnandtransfer to 9.2-> access hbl and run minipasta\install fbi-> update to 11.2 and still have fbi

Why would you inject FBI with Luma already installed?

Edit: Oops, didn't read the whole thing.

Try using Decrypt9 like the guide says. You don't need the homebrew launcher, load it as a luma payload (like the guide says)

Never do that.

You use FBI injected into H&S to install FBI.cia

it seems i forget to mention that dec9 cant inject/dump h&s app, because previous downgrade was performed by gateway/rxtools, thats why i seek alternative, sorry if it is not obvious

cant get it decrypt to work? never had this happen. downgraded to 9.2 fine.
cant get decrypt to show options. always red screens out after a slight flicker then boots to homebrew launcher again

any ideas?

try running the downgrade again. you might have a partial downgrade

having some trouble with decrypt9 - getting a red screen then a black screen then another red screen then it takes me back to hb launcher. booting from sysnand. any ideas what could be wrong?

I'm sure this has probably been answered before (I'm not scrolling through 200+ pages), but for some reason, Decrypt9UI and Hourglass9UI both won't load on A9LH Luma, with the payload bin version. Is this just because they haven't been updated? (It checks for an EmuNAND, and fails)

Never used H9, but D9 works for me.

EDIT: I thought you meant the normal D9, Decrypt9WIP

D9UI is... very outdated afaik, not surprised if it doesn't work

Sorry but I seem to have problems decrypting a cia, I successfully dumped pokemon sun cia and when I deeply decrypt it but the verification always faile, there was no error when I dumped the cia, any thoughts?

corrupt cia, incorrect seed, can you post an image of the error?
