I have an issue with Health and Safety app injection. I injected FBI on my sysNAND, and it replaced both the banner and the icon of the H&S app. I wanted to restore it back to normal, so I injected the original hs.app, but the icon still says FBI. How can I get the original icon back?

Just wait, it will come back eventually. The problem here is that the FBI icon is still cached at this point. It will take a few reboots.

I'm having an issue with NCCH xorpad generation. Decrypt9WIP says that the ncchinfo.bin file that's created from my seeddb.bin file has "bad number of entries" in it. If it helps the two titleids I have for seeddb.bin are 0004000000158d00 and 0004000000158400.

0004000000158d00 is 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 0004000000158400 is 3D Gunstar Heroes.

What did you use to create the ncchinfo.bin? Can you upload it? (don't worry, this is not copyrighted content and it doesn't contain any console identifying data)

It says it can't find the file. Try putting it in the Decrypt9 folder on your SD card. Or if it's already there, try putting it on the root of your SD card.

I assume you mean the 7 failures, right? Cause all others should be recognized as already decrypted correctly. The new version of Decrypt9 also contains 'deep' verification of ExeFS, if there is something wrong with it, it will fail. Guess I will need some more info from you, you've got pm.

I used the ncchinfo_gen.py script from the latest build of Decrypt9WIP.

That ncchinfo.bin file is 'empty' (the few bytes it has is only the header), so it's most likely you did something wrong, or there is something wrong with your files. Try building the ncchinfo.bin again, maybe it's best to do it from the command line instead of drag & dropping, so you catch error messages if there are.

Well, you've got a TMD? Using the files from rxTools, do you? Read the instructions (my signature), then try again. rxTools inject files are not injectabel with this.

Isn't the native firm in NCCH format? I'm unsure... Maybe you can provide me with some more info?

Nope, I can't make the file. Everyone needs to do it themselves. Don't be lazy. Read the official Decrypt9 readme (opening post), or start from this tutorial.

Okay, double checked it... what fails for you is the shallow step (meaning: it already fails at shallow stage). I also just tried CIA decryption with a legit CIA, and it worked without trouble. There must be something strange with your CIAs. Let's figure this out!

I have AuReiNAND running with a 10.5 sysNAND and a 9.2 emuNAND.
In the AuRei thread, it was stated that the "use only in sysNAND" clause was just for the fact that emuNAND is usually used for higher, not lower, versions.
I can confirm that a 9.2 EmuNAND through AuRei with 9.0 FIRM can launch decrypt9, but haven't tried using it for anything because of the statement above.

Actual question, does it absolutely have to be used from SysNAND to work properly, or is the statement just there for the sake of noobs not trying to run it on their 10.5 EmuNANDs?

You're correct, you can use it on 9.2 EmuNAND, no problem. If it starts, it will work.
