I was wondering if it was safe to downgrade my 3ds firmware from 10.7 to a 9.2 firmware, i think it might brick my 3ds

It is *almost* completely safe. I have done it 3 times and nothing bad happened. If you are thinking about the benefits do it quickly before you psych yourself out of it. Just remember to follow the guide very closely, keep your 3ds plugged in, and make sure you try everything that applies to your situation if something goes wrong.

Yeah its quite safe. I have done 2xN3DSXL's now and both have worked fine but what I did notice with both goes I had to go back into sysUpdater again and install the last .cia file properly, apart from that do it, its just way too easy tbh with you!

Your plans have changed.
What I think you meant to say was that even though safesysupdater has "safe" in its name, PlaiSysUpdater has the same functions and is much easier to use for this. Please reconsider using SafeSysUpdater

Is PlaiSysUpdater the fork you used? and were you on 10.7?

I downgraded around 7 3DSes, and only once did an issue happen, and I had to start the downgrader again, and it completed with no issues.
