Downgrade PS5 Digital Game Version

I understand that a physical copy of a game will not have updates obviously. Also I know that downloading games from the PS store come with the latest patch.

There is a tool for the PS4 called PSX Download Helper that allows you to set up some custom proxy settings to allow you to download base versions of games from the store.

Does anyone know if that tool works for PS5 and if not a way to downgrade digital games?

There is no known way how to do that on PS5.

In theory, if you have a plenty of knowledge how proxies work and you know how to setup one locally, you can try to reverse engineer it. But I bet that will require a lot of time.
