Battle Chess, North & South, Stunt Car Racer, Wings of Fury and ALien Breed all seem to run well... but Moonstone has control issues, robocop 3 crashes and Star Wars Chess also crashes once its plaied the opening speach sample.

Pretty good going so far though!

I don't get why you guys want Windows 3.11 to work... Just for fun?
Are there any good Windows 3.11 Games you want to play?

It's nice to see that it works, but I'm curious what I can do with it on my wii.

actually there is no mineswiiper clone for the wii.

But to be honest I think the main reason for emulating a 15year old Operating system on a gaming console could only be fun...

I know one game i really want to play under windows 3.11

"Lode Runner: The Legend Returns" by Dynamix/Sierra On-Line
(A DOS version was released a bit later i think.)

this game needs Windows 3.1 / WfW3.11

Think, that's the only game i wanna play under Windows 3.xx

"Lode Runner: The Mad Monks' Revenge" was for Windows 95, as far as i recall

Civilisation - loads all the menus up to you selecting a tribe etc but when the game starts it code dumps.
Cannon Fodder - loads up to the MVP software splash then crashes.
Dinopark - setup crashes. game works a bit... pulling up the date crashes it.
Dopewars - Works fine as far as i can tell
Theme park - Cant click on the check to start the game...

For those of you looking to get network / internet connections with this setup....

For starters I haven't even tried out DOSBox yet, but most likely will soon, it looks like a fantastic project and I'd like to try it out. Have some old games I loved to play.. (DeathTrack.... )

Anyway, I noticed the configuration has a section for serial port / modem configuration. If you could get a modem connection to go back to a PC and use it to share the internet connection out over a dial up connection, you could get to the internet with it! Not sure how fast it would be, but I bet it could work. Remember in Win 3.1/3.11 you have no ability to connect without using a software winsock application like Trumpet.

Just thought I'd add that in case someone was trying to get internet connectivity in Windows 3.1, might help someone figure out a way to do it.

If you could get even a basic version of windows 95 running, I'd think the web browsing experience would be far better, I don't think flash even has a player that will run in 3.1..

HaTaX, in my last post in this thread I posted this:

http://home.arcor.de/h-a-l-9000/ne2kstuff/db_ne2000.html

Basically it's a patch for DOSBox that adds NE2000 ethernet support. If someone was able to merge this into the DOSBox Wii source, there may be a way to get DOSBox Wii to support ethernet connections using the Wii's network access.

In other words, it may (with some work) be possible to get DOSBox Wii internet connectible... there are many DOS TCP stacks as well as the Trumpet one that you mention for Windows 3.x.

I for one think it would be really neat to have internet access in Windows 3.1... I just want to be able to control Netscape 4 with the Wiimote.
