is there a homebrew game of the original donkey kong or a game that plays like it as i have been trying to find a way to play it on my DS

Download an emulator for the Gameboy, like Lameboy, and download the rom.
Put them both on your flashcart.
Then you can play it on your DS.

The Game Boy version of DK is not the same as the original, I believe. Get an NES emulator and the rom for the NES version.
MarcaDS plays the arcade version of Donkey Kong perfectly, but unfortunately has no sound.

@chrisrlink, Homosexuality is not illegal there from what I know. Only countries like the USA and China, or other countries that don't support LGBT rights or human rights most of the time that often result in conflict.
