I still have the original GBA pak that came with my GBA SP... I am in some kremlin place, and I dont have an Action Replay so I will NEVER EVER complete it - unless someone buys me one.

sounds not good. I also heard rumor that you cant actually play as diddy kong anymore in single player mode, hes only there to help donkey do more, now that will FAIL but again im not gonna judge it till i play it myself.

Not made by Rare. Not composed by D. Wise. Not going to care.

When you said this I took out my old SNES then proceeded to hit up that old DKC2.

Still going to get this game though, I love my DK.

When I saw the video about this game, I will tell you, at first I thought that it would be a complete failure much like Donky Kong Jungle Climber. As I watched the video, I came to realize that this game may not be that bad. I am so going to grab this game when it comes out on the scene. I wonder if Rareware or some of the original people that worked on DKC 1-3 is helping with the creation of this game?

I hope that no one from Rare is working on DKCR. (Not that they would, but the thought of lack of quality because of the lack of Rare's involvement came up) Nothing Rare's released recently has been anything near as good as the work they've done in the Donkey Kong series. Retro Studio's is, in my opinion, more than capable of handling such a big name - they've definitely got an amazing sound team, so I'm not worrying about audio (or gameplay) at all; Retro knows what it's doing.

not gonna happen bud rare is owned by microsoft, and donkey kong is owned by nintendo and rare made DC64

They've already released 3 Rare made games onto the Virtual Console. The only big problem (as has been stated), is that Rare owned property is inside of DK64 (as opposed to Nintendo owned property), which means that they'll either have to come to an agreement with Microsoft, emit the content (which likely won't happen), or just forget it altogether.

Why are we whining about a 2 hit health bar?

DKC gave you 2 hits...1st lost one monkey, second was start your ass over at the 1/2pt or the start of the stage.

The reason for it is the mechanic with this game is that Diddy does part of the primary Kong moves making stages able to be completed so they are not helpers to trade off but joined at the hip. This isn't some wuss way to allow extra damage with 2 hearts.
