ince the current 3ds has problems with the screen being scratched I was wondering
when the flame red 3ds is released is this issue resolved?

Just stick one of those between the screens.

EDIT: Forgot to mention it doesn't invalidate your warranty!

^ That just look ... weird and dangerous(?). Try cutting them down.

It possible, but I never had a need to use things to protect the screen. Idk what some people are doing for it to happen. :/

Either:

A) You guys have screen protectors on. Naughty.
B) You guys don't use your 3DS enough. Shame on you.
C) You play for extremely long periods of time, almost never closing it. YAY!!!
D) You gently close the lid.

I use screen protectors, they seem to do the job and don't interfere with the 3D at all.

I am getting the black 3ds today and I am going to pick up some screen protectors to go with it will I need to replace the screen protectors every week?

no you dont, its not really scratches, more than just dirty, so clean the screen once you see the lines on the screen and they go away
My 3DS had no scratches for 2 months then got them. So use screen protectors always until N fixes the problem.

lmfao no. Are you trolling us or something?

I use Hori Japanese screen protectors and I have those lines. Looks more like permanent grease stain mark lines. Is it cleanable? I tried but it don't come off. Barely noticeable (and does not affect the 3D as you can't see the marks) so it doesn't matter I guess.

As long as you keep the edges of the touchscreen area clean, there should be no smudges. Those lines AREN'T scratches. Just smudges from oil.

The red 3DS probably doesn't fix this.
