Hacking Does the R43DS work on the new 3ds?

I was wondering if those 20$~ R43DS flashcard would work on the newest NEW 3DS? I know they only play the 3ds game on 2D mode but I don't really care for the 3d as I have a condition with my eyes that prevent me from using the 3D for more than 5 min without getting dizzy.

No 3DS games will work. Has nothing to do with 2D or 3D mode.
R4 = DS mode.

I know it looks like it would work, but its misleading advertising.
If it would work, nobody would by a Sky or Gateway cart.

The blue gateway cart will not work on N3DS, so if you want to play DS
games you need an R4 or supercard. Newest version.

yeah but it will only play regular ds game. 3ds game wont even load right?

Actually there's a small chance it may end up working at one point with cearp's .cia he has. I did it on my 9.2 3DS while I had it on 9.2 and the blue cart showed up and worked perfectly on a 9.2 sysNAND. So we might see it working in the near future. If we're lucky, Gateway will move off of the DS Profile exploit and use the Mii Maker exploit (or something else which is offline) so they can re-enable the other FIRMs properly and re-enable NDS carts. If we're lucky though.
