Misc Does the DS do RSA checks for Wi-Fi play?

Hey guys, just asking this one out of curiosity, I haven't had any problems. I know the DS does RSA checks when playing locally with another player unless the receiving DS has been flashed, but is there any kind of security for Wi-Fi play?

it is not even for all local multiplayer, just for download play, and there is no download play on Wifi.
