I just purchased a used Lenovo LOQ laptop and I've ran into an issue with the switch emulators. All of them freeze immediately. I know the ram is low in this system and many people hate fitgirl repacks, but it's the only to "acquire" working games and emulators. I'm wondering if something use is going on. These games worked on my only i7 DDR3# desktop that died a few weeks ago.

Laptop Specs:
Windows 11 Pro (64-Bit)
AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS
8GB DDR5 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (6GB)
ATI AMD Radeon 780M (2GB) (I don't use this card for gaming)
476GB Micron NVME
Realtek High Definition Audio

First of all, did you make sure that emulator is added to Win 11 "Graphics settings" list where you explicitly choose Nvidia card to be used? Hybrid GPUs in Windows have tendency to use integrated graphics first. In case of games they are added there automatically (at least they are supposed to be).

Yes I did, but I discovered that all my games were using Vulkan and it was crashing with all of them. I switched to OpenGL and the games are running. Some better than others (smash bros is still laggy) , but at least running.
