Hardware Does somebody knows what fw comes with a new 3ds aqua blue??

I just got one and like to know if someone knows what is the firmware version that come with it. Don't have any information but that it is a new 3ds aqua blue. Thx in advance.

check the date on the box. if its 2012, its 4.5 or below. if its 2013, its almost always going to be on firmware 5.X

well that's the thing, i don't have access to the box. But i've done some research and according to this link http://nintendo3ds.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_3DS_colors it was discontinued on october last year and according to this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_3DS_system_software 5.x was released on march 2013 so i hope i'm lucky and got a 4.x system.

if it really is new then it will not have 5.x on it, or even 4x for that matter. it may have as low as 1.x depending on when it was purchased (new does not always refer to recently purchased). I would make sure have a game with a 4.X update on it so you can update it as the gateway only works on 4.1-4.5

I think i am really lucky cause it actually comes with the game donkey kong country returns it's not a bundle it's a pack so it's great.
