Hardware Does my old version of ironfall persist through system transfer?

Title says it all.

I currently have a n3dsxl and I'm curious about the mini. I have the old version of ironfall, and I'd like to use my games on the mini if at all possible, so I'm planning on making the mini my system for a week. Problem is, I don't know if it will force an update if I preform a transfer (the 'local' version, not the 'redownload everything' version).

I don't care all that much about ironhax as I own both Ninja and OoT, but I'd rather not give up Ironhax's convenience if at all possible.

Has anyone tried this?

Just use the computer transfer method to be safe. You should be fine though.
