Homebrew Does every one else's homebrew crash!

I have tried a few homebrew games on my 3ds

one of them scummvm I wanted to play that emulator so I tried a game and it crashed, it is not just one game but a lot of homebrew.
the error is a screen with loads of numbers if that helps then says save crash report, I just want to know that I am not a lone on this one?
and I guess that I could play with retroarch dosbox instead of scummvm, I need to look into how to play that core.

I do hope my retro arch will not let me down, all the 3ds games work fine.

Homebrew does not work well on a stock firmware. You need to install cfw for it to work. What outdated guide did you follow?

I have only really just tested out my 3ds and it is throwing up this error on 3ds games

It still isn't a good idea to follow video guides, as most of them leave something out. For some reason many people have been having this issue, and I wanna say most of them link that video. While you are definitely on a cfw, could you do me a favor and just skim over 3ds.guide and see if there are any discrepancies. Also, does this happen with every single game, or just a few?

A lot of homebrew does not load and a few threw up that screen. I have had a lot of these errors not just one game, but some will play fine.

I should go through that guide soon and check man

Could you go in depth and tell me what doesn't load and how exactly you're launching it?
