I don't know about the States but in Canada you have to sign for it meaning somebody either has to be at home or you've got to go pick it up.

2 week waiting period is normal for the free shipping (it's coming from Hong Kong, so it has to go through Hong Kong post, then through the US Postal Service), it'll arrive in a small manila package in your mail box.
