Hacking Does a flashcart with ntr require a micro sd inserted for the exploit to work?

I need to get cfw on my brothers 2ds however I only have one sd card on me and it is a micro sd that I use for my flashcart.
Would it be possible to put the ntr flasher on my flashcart, then take out the micro sd card and use it for the target 2ds's sd card after formatting it?

yes, you dont need the SD card inserted in the flashcard for it to work as a ntrboot card

This depends on the flashcard. I have heard of at least one card that *does* require an sd to be inserted, for whatever weird reason.
The majority doesn't though.

For r4i gold plus(r4ids.cn),there is no need for micro sd if you just use it for ntr.

just to be a bit helpful i can confirm that the Acekard 2i does not need a micro sd inserted.

The Ace3DSX DOES require that a sd micro be inserted in BS9 mode, but does not require that the card actually have anything on it.
