Do you litter the streets with your empty food containers and such.

I'll chuck an apple core in the bushes every now and then, only biodegrable stuff.

I rarely will litter. If I do, it'll be something small like a gum wrapper. But never something like a bag of garbage from McDonalds or anything

Even the small stuff, I hold on to or put it in my pocket or bag.
I smoke too so I usually carry a pocket ashtray thing.

I think the reason why I don't litter is because I grew up doing it and became a habit.
Growing up, my mom scolded us a lot about it and made it seem the worst thing we could do.
She isn't even an environmentalist or something.

This approach bothers me. Sure those things may decompose but they make your city streets look like shit until they do. Even biodegradables I will put in the compost or if unavailable, the garbage. Recyclables will be recycled and garbage will be garbaged. No exceptions. (Except sometimes).

I wish I had the liberty of throwing trash into the bin but where I live there just aren't any bins...
I either throw it away in the street or keep it in my pocket till I get home.
Sometimes I can do that with a bag of crisps but If its something like a ice cream wrapper or a can I just throw it away. I'm not putting that shit in my pocket.

If there is no bin, I take it home and use my bin.
Where I live there is sooooooooooooooooooooo much litter.
I think it's atrocius that despite paying council tax - they don't clean the streets.

And the latest is the government wants to introduce 'Pay as you throw' tax - FT!!!!!!

If its fruit or vegetable bits like a core, then I will chuck it into the bushes or tall grass where it can degrade out of sight and away from people. I spit pits out in my yard all the time during plum season. I actively fight against littler and trash though. I cant stand people who litter like mindless savages.

I never really have any big trash, so I just shove it in my pocket, forget about it, have them go through the wash, wear, wash, wear, wash, etc, until the trash becomes part of the pocket.
