I was curious, do you think "Signed" items will work on the Vita? Or do you think PSP games downloaded on the Vita will be working differently than a normal psp? i ask cause I want some of the PSP games I own on the Vita without rebuyin them on PSN =/

Why do you think it's not a chance? Signed items do run on OFW but AFAIK, PSP is software emulated on Vita.

I would think Sony will change the way things are dealt with, maybe changing PSP formats to work with the Vita (no more EBOOTs) unless they're asking for it.

Though we don't know anything.

Sony can resign PSP software so it can only run on Vita. The Vita will have different keys than PSP, of course.

the vita run , psp games(you get form the PSN), using emulation

so Sony, should be able to control, what can run

they files may be in a different format the the PSP uses

It won't. It would be cool for pirates and other people, but NOT FOR SONY.

Sony really hates pirates and hackers. They introduced a shitload of useless updates just to make sure we couldn't hack the PSP, and every time we managed to circumvent their shitty security measures. I think they were simply saving their best for the Vita. Which is why the last update, 6.60, was so easy to hack.
