I'm curious. How many people on this website play an instrument?

Any instrument counts. Saxophone, Recorder, Ocarina, etc.. Anything you play!

If you play an instrument how good are you at it? Are you a beginner or are you a master?

Please don't respond saying, "AIH PLEY DA WHISTLE" or "AIH PLEY MAH VOICE."

I play the Alto Saxophone and Recorder. I'm good at playing both.

I also play the Kazoo casually.

Used to play flute, as being in the magnet program for my middle school required a "fine art" to attend. Spent 3 years playing it for band class, never really minded it, but once I graduated, I never played it again.

I make really bad music out of my Atari 2600.
And yes, I'm serious.
I don't think that counts as an instrument. If so, then I would also have played the SNES (Mario Paint) and the Wii U (Mario Maker) as one of my instruments.

Eh, fuck it. It counts I guess.

i used to play Trombone and flute, then i found them so boring, better lift more weight instead of those dead instruments which no one play them anymore.

Started with soprano flute (I think I could still play it today), then alt flute (I don't remember how to play it anymore), then very briefly bassoon (don't remember it either).
I now have a guitar, but can't play it yet. I've been thinking of getting some of the easier/memeier instruments though, like a kazoo or an otamatone.

not anymore.
Used to play violin, and did one year in orchestra school.
I couldn't keep going (mainly caused by me spending time on the Temp instead of doing rehearsal seriously...)

I'm sure I'd be more assiduous if it was video game music. I'd love playing in a video game music dedicated orchestra.

No, I can’t play any instruments.

My fingers work better on QWERTY keyboards than musical ones, and they don’t seem to be dexterous enough for guitars, fingering wind instruments, or basically doing anything decent, performance wise.
I’m awful whenever I attempt it, and even though we had an Upright piano in the house for well over a decade, I still never quite learned to do anything well.

But that doesn’t mean I’m not Musical.

I can play some drums and guitar, neither I practice regularly. I also play synth and I make chiptunes on an original Gameboy if that counts.

Why not? You said kazoo. I'd say a dot matrix printer is more of an instrument than that. I'll even post proof. (by the way, I started on Clarinet, Liked the Trumpet better, and dabble in guitar and piano)

I play the Piano

Temp is bad. It causes you to procrastinate.
