Do you need to solder GRD and 3.3 for Core V1/V2 Switch?

In all the videos I have watched they only solder the flex to the apu and then plug the nand in. I am not seeing anyone soldering 3.3 or ground, yet my mod chip has the connections on the board which I am not sure what they are for.

I am using a Core chip from the usual sources.

If you mean HWFLY, the modchip has a socket containing all the necessary lines. That's the beauty of a module design.
