Do you ever go through "gaming droubts" ?

I'm not sure why but I've done this for a long time. I'll beat 2 or 3 games in the span of a week or two sometimes, but other times I might go months without playing a single game. I guess it's mental laziness.

All the time, I go through long periods of either not playing any game at all or ignoring new titles and stuff on my backlog for something I've already played a million times before because I won't have to think about what I'm really doing in it.

Though for me it's less about laziness and more just not having much time to dedicate to starting/focusing on some new game.

I wish I could say I'm super busy I do work but when I'm not working I don't have much going on. Divorced no kids no life, I sort of have to force myself to do things like play games or exercise otherwise I'll just lay around all day on the internet if I'm not working, sorta like right now. I did play a little bit of Gears 5 and Simpsons Hit & Run today.

My problem with me is actually find a game to play?
Like
I've way too much free time than what I know what to do with, so... plenty time to play games, eh.
Thing is... I try a lot of games, but most don't really... "click" with me. For one reason or another.
Sometimes its my mood, sometimes its just the game lacking in something, or being clunky, or dunno.
