Hacking Do installed custom themes disappear if you update?

Hello, I’ve decided to update my PS4 as homebrew has more cons than pros for me, and it doesn’t seem like it will level out, if ever.

I’m curious though; are custom themes fake-signed, therefore causing them to disappear if you update to the latest firmware?

If theyre fake signed then yeah, obviously they wont work on higher OFW.

They wont vanish, they just wont load.

Nothing fake signed will load.

I can't say for sure, but thinking you'd probably want to delete them before you update as Sony could possibly see them and ban you for even having them on your system since they are fake signed. I could be wrong though.

Yep, they disappear. I just updated.

Nope, and also you need to switch themes before switching back to your custom theme before it’ll work.

Yes, it stays on the default theme.

yes from 4.55 to 5.05 my personal theme disappeared.
just installed after without problem.
