Hacking DJ Hero custom tracks

I looked into it, as did a few others. I'm currently nagging someone to gimme a converter and I'll figure it out from there. Audio's already been done.

What kind of converter are you looking for?

Well, I guess someone I know has the tools available to do it. He's busy at the moment with other stuff, though, so my nagging has to wait a while.

Especially with the improved freestyle sections on DJH2, I'm eager to see the results!
 
shameless bump dont let this fugging die
ive browsed around the DLC files
it seems with a .app builder it would be possible to package the files for reading from the System memory, though that's not a great idea considering the wii is so constrained on space, meh

i was going to test this by just customizing one of the TRACKLISTING.XML files and popping it back into my system to see if it read a separate listing but then got lazy :U

probably already known but posting my findings here

this XML is also redundant in another file that is labled DLC-[DLCID] outside the folder TRACKLISTING.XML is in
so other than the game storing a list of all the songs you dled this is probably possible, i havent looked at the disc but i would really hate using an iso for this game(brawl spoiled lol)

please someone tell me this is all already known and im a dunce :P
