Cheesy orchestral score? Check. OTT landscapes and set design? Check. Enormous swords? Check. Yup. It's definitely Square Enix. Definitely Final Fantasy.

The PSP fighting game, first released in Japan late last year, will be out in the US this Summer and in Europe in September. Why it needs a trailer, I don't know. Maybe one or two Square Enix fans have been in a coma since 2006, and only just came to.

Haha--And this is basically the reason I bought your PSP. I've been playing Final Fantasy since it launched for the NES, and still have a weakness for them despite the Japan-ness that the old sprite graphics never construed. It's something of an ambivalent indulgence.

Incidentally I've only touched a PSP once. But when I saw this game was coming out, I knew I had to buy a system. And since it's only out in Japan, I needed a PSP that could be/was hacked so I wouldn't have to wait for the US release. It's one I wouldn't mind owning like Pizzaroo stated, but I don't plan to buy it twice.
