The plot lines in both X and X-2 are rubbish compared to your usual FF fare.

I'll agree that X-2's storyline was weak, but X? Imagine if there was irrefutable proof that religion was just a massive lie? That's huge! Think of all of the wasted time, history and millions of people whose lifes would be affected. When I found that out in X regarding Yevon (or whatever it was called) I was blown away. The sheer implications and consequences of it all would be incredible if it were real.

On the main screen (With New Game, Load Game, and Extras), I do believe it's under Extras in Dissidia 012, not Prologus.

Transferring data over from Prologus WILL NOT GET YOU AERITH.
To get her you have to BUY PROLOGUS.

How do I get the report needed to unlock Gilgamesh and Prishe? I'm training my characters in quick battle right now 'cause I don't want to transfer my old Dissidia save data (with Cloud+Squall LVL100, Terra lvl 60-something, WOL about lvl 40 and Sephiroth about lvl 45, everyone else just barely enough to get through their DO's) 'cause it feels like a cop-out. Do I just need to progress through story mode? I've cleared Main Scenario 012 (and feel violated by that ending) but everything else is just too hard. 013 eats me alive from the very first match as my current WOL was still lvl1 when I started, and don't even get me started on the devastation 000 did to me and my pride. Here I was thinking Tifa's new heights of level 35 or so would be a good starting point. She got pwned in about 2 seconds.

Because I'm buying it for sure but I don't want to update my firmware. -_-

yep this what makes FFX great. the main heart of the story was revelation of yu yevon foundation and the consipiracies behind it. the characters wasnt that amazing i agree to that. battle system same thing.

to unlock prishe/gilgamesh i believe you have to read (watch/fight) all reports 1-8. the final page in report 8 wont be accessible if u did not read all the reports 1-8.
to get all the reports 1-8 finish the 12 cycle story. then play the prologue of the 13th cycle (you fight as WoL). i repeat YOU JUST NEED TO FINISH THE PROLOGUE OF THE 13th CYCLE.

if u think scenario 013 is hard, play scenario 000. then tell me which one is HARD.

edit: if someone has a friend card that has all kinds of tomes equip with their character please share it. im willing to share mine.

Actually, you just need to do report 8, not do all the reports and you unlock report 8 sometime in 012.

Ugh, with the buffs and nerfs to everyone, I'm not sure.
If we're talking about Skill - Effectiveness rating, I'd go with Tifa, because she's as useful to me as Jecht is.
For the love of god, I cannot time those button presses without some kind of tutorial on Feints and Continuing Combos.

yeah how do you use fients? I can't figure it out for the love of god. I push the friggin O, but nothing happens. Is it the same as just not finishing the combo?

I personally felt that Firion is the weakest.
