Hacking Disk Loader, Channel?

I have wii backup loader 0.3 gamma and i have got it to work but whenever i want to use it i have to go into the homebrew channel and select the application of my sd card. on youtube i saw that there was a backup loader which is a whole seperate channel which looks a little like the wii disk loader but a bit different. Which backup loader iis this and are there any requirmnets for installing it. Alo is there a way to get my backup loader gamma as a channel on the wii system menu rather than an application through the homebrew channel?

Before you actually install, be aware that it is possible to banner brick the wii, not that I am trying to insult you mydarxide. I would advise having something along the lines of bootmii or starpatch installed for a worst case scenario.

I do Agree Preloader or Bootmii should be installed before installing any custom WADS. I know that wad works on my wii but its always better safe than bricked.
