Does it work?
I'm considering buying the retail SSBB NTSC-U and I was wondering if the swap trick worked with the NTSC-U version, I've heard it does with NTSC-J.
I'd like some confirmation from people with a WiiKey before I buy it.
Thanks guys.

Edit: Sorry about the title, still getting used to this new keyboard rofl.

Its great that you wanna buy the game, but if you have a backup of it, why would you bother swapping it out for the original? They play the same.

I would imagine because the pressed disc that is the retail copy is far more reliable and easier on your lens. In addition, you wouldn't need to burn a DVD9 version.

Ding ding ding! You got it right.

Anyway, I'm wondering if it works because of those reasons. My Wii sounds like its munching on the DVD9.

i have wiikey 1.9b wii 3.2U.

i loaded the dvd5 version and at the menu screen i ejected it.

"please insert original disc" or something.

i inserted the retail version. it works for a while but then the 'please insert' or 'error' screen comes up.

so in my experience it doesn't work.
