• The "GUI" and "NTR/TWL" buttons in settings, now work by touching them in the touch screen.
• The Start/Select menu now disappears whenever a donor ROM is set/unset. (by @umbjolt)

• The white square of the NDS card image now looks like the one from DSi Menu.

Bug fixes

• The "Add Games" menu now restarts after a game is added. This is only tested with a DSTWO, so DLDI might go unpatched after restarting.

I have a question now that I have more info about my flashcart, but I don't have my 3DS with me, just my DS Lite.

The flashcart says R4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)
On the DS Lite it boots right after the DS Health & Safety screen. Basically on boot.
On the 3DS, it doesn't read it as a game, it does nothing.

Can this work on TWLoader?

You have the original R4, the same I have.
If you use the "DS Game Forwarder pack (Original R4 / M3 Simply)", it will work!
Also, you could install Apache Thunder's "R4 Stage2 Launcher" (R4CartLauncher_AnyKernel) and use it to launch your R4 from Home Menu!

got everything up and running, here's an idea for the next update, removing the game name bubble on the bottom screen.. similar to what you would have if you pressed the enlarge button on the 3ds home menu...

That's how it is on the dsi, that's what this program is modeled around.

@Robz8 Are you thinking about adding the scroll bar eventually or do you think it's a waste of time.
Edit: Also what about different dsi color schemes? Does custom top images still work?

I'm having this odd problem. I updated TWL-NAND side and the GUI cias and yet when I open TWLoader, it still tries to download the cias and goes to the Nintendo error screen.

In "sdmc:/_nds/twloader/settings.ini" set AUTODOWNLOAD to 0.

@Robz8 Will Micro machines v4 work in the future? I don't have my 3ds with me right now but last time i checked it said data could not be read. Hope it can be fixed in the future, because i love that game!

Next release will solve for ever the crash when updating NAND side.
Also, autodownload is not crashing anymore

Pressing L+R and Start in the "Add Games" app used to make it close itself, now it just freezes for some reason.
Also, boxart downloading no longer works for Japanese games.

call me crazy but I can't get the boxart to work.
whether on SD or flashcart during the boot it shows "downloading missing boxart" but they never appear.. I checked and could not find any png file
any idea ?

NAND side can be installed manually with FBI. Next release version will solve it (the bug is in v3.2.1 too so, when you update to v3.2.2/v3.3 will fail too but the next WON'T!)

Did you update the files in "sdmc:/_nds/twloader/loadfashcard/", and that "_nds/twloader.nds" is in your flashcard?

Yeah I'm an idiot. Somehow I managed to not copy the file to the flashcart

I've tried everything to get my R4's to work with no luck at all. I'm on the latest Luma.
I can get the NDS on the 3DS sd card to read fine, but I've tried an original R4 and an R4 SDHC. I have tried with 2gb and 4gb cards formatting in both FAT and FAT32. None of the forwarder's work, all I get is the Dsi loading screen then the blank white screen. Any ideas anyone please?

Ok, so I got twloader installed and I fixed my problem with the missing bootstrap.ini being missing, but now it still won't play .NDS files yet it will play from slot 1. When I booted up call of duty 4 it showed the DSi start up, white screen, then black screen then displayed could not write data to SD card.

The .smdh file is only for the 3DSX demo.

The issue should be fixed in nds-bootstrap v0.3.2.

Newest release is not working at all for me. I have 3.1 working fine but as soon as i update to newest or the last one it hangs on the TWLoader logo and I have to cold reboot. Yes I have installed nand_side cia to sys nand(Idont have emunand so scratch that). Ive tried removing the gui and nand_side titles with FBI deleting the _nds folder from root of sd and then copying the files from the latest archive to my sd and reinstalling. Exactly the same result. Oh and checked that autouptdate in settings.ini was set to 0; it was. Thought it was completely f**ked so tried reinstalling 3.1 gui and nand_side cias. Low and behold working again at least until I try to update in any way (manual cia installation or update from the gui). Then it hangs on the logo again. Any thoughts on this??? Will try to upload video later because I guess this means that anything past 3.1 is a no go for my 3ds since no one else having issues like this.

Update just tried the latest version on my daughters 3ds and it hangs in exactly the same way. Both consoles are PAL and on exactly the same firmware/CFW. Latest Luma on sys 11.2.

launching the "add games" app then launching a game doesnt add it to TWLoader for some reason (R4i Gold RTS)
