That's a good idea, but I don't know how to implement one. I always use FBI for installing TWLoader over the network.@Robz8 any chance we can get an auto updater built into the app? Would be handy to have something that works similar to fbi to not have to take out all my sd cards lol.
I imagine there's some source code laying around that you can use to implement it. https://github.com/Steveice10/FBI there are a few other similar apps that you could use for reference. That's a good idea, but I don't know how to implement one. That seems to work however does it update both CIA files or just the main one? Anyways it would still be good to have a built in updater regardless. The homebrew browser will do this for you. I've been using it for a few months now and it seems to stay on top of things when updates come out. You can install it through FBI by going to TitleDB and finding it in the list.

Yeah that's how you update. I'm asking about the automated method I was told about above.how to update now ? just install the new 2 cias over the old ones and copy the folders over to the root of the sd ?

I don't know if assume occasionally. But probably this is why it's better to have a built in solution to update the two cia files as well as any folders on the sd card and flash card.I think it's just the main one unfortunately but can probably be fixed with a request. How often does the NAND .cia get updated though?
3 Things...Yep.
i'm seconding this but the op said he doesn't know how to implement that so no piggy i guessI don't know if assume occasionally. But probably this is why it's better to have a built in solution to update the two cia files as well as any folders on the sd card and flash card.
That's why I have him the git for another project that includes reference code to implement it anyways I don't expect it over night but whenever he gets time hopefully he can add it in.i'm seconding this but the op said he doesn't know how to implement that so no piggy i guess
Just make a text file and edit it in notepad or notepad++ using the format described. Create one per rom. So like "Super Mario 64.ini" and then the path to that rom.Forgive me my stupidness: how do i create a path .ini file?
Thank you, will try thatJust make a text file and edit it in notepad or notepad++ using the format described. Create one per rom. So like "Super Mario 64.ini" and then the path to that rom.
