Homebrew Disadvantages for having a CFW?

A 3GB game takes more than 2 hours to install. That's quite sad.

The only thing that comes to mind, is not being able to play DsiWare, GBA, or GBC games without having to work through additional steps of installation.
(At least, that's my opinion. Please correct me if I'm work)
Also, having to re-add all of your friends back. xD

What do you mean? You mean having to install to both Sys and EmuNAND? That was never an issue with GBC VC, only with DSiWare and GBA titles, and anyway the current mainstream entrypoint is A9LH and most use SysNAND, so... it's no longer needed.

Well, that's not an issue related to CFW. It's an issue with the 3DS itself. Downloading eShop games is painfully slow.

even on stock firmware and downloading legit from eshop, it is still slow..so it is never CFWs fault, blame Nintendo for the hardware or your internet service provider.. but am not complaining really, im used to this now..if you want fast, get the actual cartridge.. even using a flashcart there is still that download time when getting the .3DS/.3DZ file from the internet on your computer especially on 3GB games + slow internet and then you have to manually transfer the game back and forth if you wana delete it etc, you have to press buttons like crazy if you got lots of games esp on sky3ds users.. :/

so far i only have positive things to say about 3DS with CFW..i could backup my saves should anything goes wrong, play VC Games not available on eShop, etc the list goes on..

Pokémon sm took like 1h30 to install on my O3DS with a classic sd card (not a class10). It's long but it's perfectly ok

There is none. Just don't play pokemon before its release in your region, or you'll get permabanned.
Other than that, none.

If you didn't have CFW you wouldn't be playing games online before release anyway, so less of a disadvantage and more of abusing your newly found powers.

Disadvantages: No Xbox one emulation (yet), Can't attach wheels to it and ride it like a skateboard, Won't unlock top screen's touchscreen hidden capabilities
