I have no idea if i should A9LH my 9.2 Sysnand 3DS. I've heard so many good things about CFW's, but I really want to know what the disadvantages are of having a CFW. Thanks!

Once it's setup, none. But yeah, you could count the time and effort spent into hacking as a disadvantage I guess. I actually like it but maybe you don't :P

The ridiculously long CIA installation times.
I wouldn't wouldn't really call it a "disadvantage", but definitely something annoying to be aware of.
Especially if you used to have Gateway, where you just popped the .3ds/.3dz files in your microSD.

Well that's not a CFW disadvantage, it's the 3ds hardware and software that is slow as hell...
The only disadvantage I can see is the ticket.db. If Nintendo decide to check its entries against your purchase history and not just the validity of the tickets, they will be able to tell exactly what you pirated.

How is it the worst thing? It is not even a negative thing. Waiting for updates is not a big wait, and it is often not important in the first place, so it's definitely not something with a negative or positive value. As such, it is not the worst thing about CFW.

It's called irony. Don't read into it too much. The fact that there really isn't any sort of downside to custom firmware thus far, the wait time between releases is the only "bad" thing. Why did I have to explain this? I swear some people just want to argue.

Beacause it simply is not "bad", at all, and you may be misleading others into thinking it is.
