nah i fixed it. had to use wiiflow(ew) 4.0.2 which was released something like 23hours ago on the google code page.
Okay, also if you don't like WiiFlow, there's always the latest betas of the others
GX would be r1202.
CFG would be r70 mod r46 or higher.

(earlier versions of both of those, you have to change a setting for it to work but the newer versions auto-detect the right setting to fix that problem)

DM(L) booter, the latest version is r30 IIRC but you have to set the "boot method" to "new 2.1+" in order for it to work.

id rather usbloadergx

I haven't noticed the effect of the currently implemented widescreen mode. Is it supported on all games that did not run on widescreen or just some?
I remembered having tried it with Super Mario Sunshine and not noticing a difference, i.e., Mario still looked overstretched.
Mario Sunshine works great with Widescreen setting.
You can see the effect at the Save selection screen: When the Widescreen is in effect, there are more empty spaces at the edges of the "save cubes". (mario can't go there)

In games, Mario may still look overstretched because the widescreen effect seems to put the camera a little far away from Mario (at least it's the effect I see), as a result you see more element on screen: When starting the game to the plaza, you can see the star on the left tower when widescreen is enabled.

Well, I checked the widescreen feature again last night on SMS. It may have been that the first time I did not actually enable it but it is quite noticeable. Mario did not look overstretched to me. He seemed to have the right proportions, which is the goal of the widescreen feature. I did notice the anomaly with the save file selection screen, where the item boxes are not aligned with the labels above. Also, like deshayzilla indicated, some items spawn late because they are supposed to be off screen, like the Piantas in the plaza. However, overall, it seems to work quite well.

Hey, just wanted to know, if I format my entire 320gig HDD into FAT32 with 32K cluster, can any side effects occur? I have movies and wii games on there (after I copy them again after formatting of course..)

If you have games or movies having single file size over 4 gigs, FAT32 can't handle those. With WII games using WiiBackupManagers transfer function game discs are partitioned and do work. With movies recoding (or having another partition formatted as NTFS are only options.

I think we all want those features but we have to be patient. Audio streaming is something I really hope happens at some point. I'm personally glad the project is still going.

Can anyone confirm if Soul Calibur II works in extracted file format when using DMToolbox to perform the extraction?
GCReEx 0.3 broke that game and DDR Mario Mix for me (worked with the previous version) but I haven't been able to confirm with DMToolbox because the PC where I do all the Wii stuff is still on WinXP.

Weird all my games including Soul Calibur 2 work fine using GCReEX 0.3 not sure why your having troubles? weird!

I am more interested to know if the 32K cluster size can effect anything?

Practically it means that files might use more diskspace, for example 1k file takes 32 from the disk, but as the drive is practically used for large images only the "problem" with files using extra space is negligible or nonexistent.

Oh I see so I have no worries using 32K as my HDD already formatted to FAT32..
Thanks!

Thanks for confirming that. I had not been able to verify with somebody else to determine if it was a general bug or a problem I might have.
I have no clue where to even begin trying to figure that out. It happens to me with both, DM and DML; I just get a black screen after the DM logo when booting these games, if I use the files extracted with GCReEx 0.3. I did notice that the folders created with both versions of GCReEx have sizes which are slightly off by a few KB, so the output is indeed different. I am not sure why one works and not the other.
