Sounds good, thanks for your contributions. :D

Can DML play multi-disc games?

Most multi-disc games allow you to save immediately prior to the disc change. These should work fine. Games without that ability currently don't work (for switching discs at least, you can burn a disc just to get you past the disc swap with NeoGamma or something and then save on the second disc and then you should be able to go back to DML)

Alright, sorry for being really newbie to this. When i try to format my SD card, the allocation size(I think that's the other term for cluster size), it gives me 16kb-8192kb. In that list, 64kb is not found. Is there a program where I can format it to 64kb? Or do i just deal with 32kb.

-Sony 4gb class 4. (Bought off cheap site).

What are you using to format it? Windows should let you select FAT32 and 64k.

haha glad to see the 64kb tip helped you all out. Supersonic i havn't tried sonic collections but i know megaman x collections works

Using windows. I guess my windows is lame or my eyes are censoring it out. I can select FAT and get 64k, but not FAT32.

It didn't had that option on my SD cards either (integral 4GB class 4 and Sandisk 8GB class 4). I tried windows 7 and the latest easeus partition manager. But I just went with regular FAT, which had the option and works just as well.

Windows can be a b1tch... use Easeus partition manager, works perfect.

Edit: hey bubba :)

Thanks for the log. An apploader with size 928 looks impossible. Either there's an error on this read for some reason, or the apploader is loaded in pieces, which is something DML does not handle at all. This info should lead to a solution, as soon i got some time to look into it.

Yup, FAT 32 support is dropped in WIN 7

Windows sucks for formatting. Use easeus partition master it's free and it's amazing for formatting drives and disks. I've always had trouble with windows format.

No, that's what I used for FAT32 and 64KB clusters.

If "kb" is actually lowercase, then I imagine you would select 512kb for 64KB clusters.

windows doesn't suck, you're just using it wrong.
Open a cmd and type diskpart from there you can perfectly do anything, I also used that to format by SD card to 64KB.

I think part of the problem with these hacks is that you depend on 100 different programs and methods for acomplishing one task instead of standardizing the procedure.
Since Windows is my expertize, i can put a how-to together for different operating systems and will post it here (maybe it can be included at the top page again).

By the way, i used Windows 7 64Bit for formating my 32GB SD card with 64KB Cluster Size.

i have a 2GB SD and I want to format it with 64KB FAT32,
I used win7 - Easus PM & Dos diskpart & format commands and did not find any way to succeed.
There is FAT - 64KB but not Fat32 !!!!
So I used Fat32 - 512kb and this way the worst day of my life since it took me 3 hours to copy my 1.5GB files back and loading time from SD increased >10x.
I need experts heeeeeeeeelp

Maybe use this?

Be careful so you don´t format wrong drive etc:)

PS: Haven´t tried it, can´t guarantee anything, but it should work.
