pikmin 2 works =]
i don't know what froze it on the credits loading from disc but hopefully this doesn't have that problem.

Super Mario Sunshine for NTSC-U is working!

I AM SO HAPPY!
I can finally get the last few shines :P

I also have to freaking play Soul Calibur 2... My cousin sat on the disk ;_; But I backed it up! Unfortunately, I couldn't play it ;_;

TILL NAO! TYSM DML workers!

As for your other question...no. If the wii had even a fraction of the memory required to cache an entire GC game, it would be relatively easy to instead use that memory to add USB support. I suppose a loader could indeed be made to list GC games on an USB drive. Then, when you select a game, copy it to your SD card (assuming there is sufficient free space) and then launc the copied game with DML. But if wiixplorer's copy-capabilities are any indication, that means the difference between clicking to start a game and actually starting the game can be quite long (5 to 15 minutes?).

That is really a good idea :P

(check postLoader 3.56.0 B-) )

I just tried out XIII on r19, and it works=)
On earlier revisions it would let you navigate the menu and go through the motions like it was gonna work, then it'd load whatever game was in the drive.

Added it to the compatibility wiki.

5.2.0 Changelog
  • Added a DML rev selector and updated DML build process to support DML rev12+.
DML was also moved from Download Page 1 to Download Page 4.
I want to extend a big thank you to crediar for continuing to work on DML
and addressing the issues that DML was facing when running from bootmii IOS.
Your solution to install DML on the real NAND to slot 257 solved a lot of
problems and the scene thanks you. I also want to recognize WiiPower who
has become increasingly involved in the DML project.

[*]Added an option to build DML with debug\logging mode enabled.

    [*]Updated NeoGamma on ModMii's Download Page 2 from R9 beta50 to R9 beta56.
This version of NeoGamma is able to use DML to play gamecube game backups
from an SD Card without requiring NEEK or an emulated NAND.

  • Added support to build d2x cIOSs with base IOS60, IOS70 and IOS80.
  • ModMii's SD\USB Forwarder creator was updated from v11b to v11c.
ModMii's other forwarder channels were also updated to v11c.
  • neek2o rev70+ now uses SNEEKInstallerv0.7a instead of SNEEKInstallerv0.6c.
  • Now when PC programs are downloaded with local save settings (or possibly Auto)
they will be saved to a Program Files folder wherever ModMii is saved instead
of always being saved to C:\ModMii\Program Files.
  • Other minor changes.

Thanks...but credit where credit's due, mate. :) This is mostly AeitZean's idea (or even entirely...my English/IT stuff isn't good enough to know if you can consider this to be called "caching").

I was jocking, I've released 3.55 and then start to work on this.... so a day before. Anyway is so slow, as you said... :(

nice seeing that dml got integrated into modmii, gonna add that to the first post too.

Does DML apply the hack for the "dungeon map fix" for "The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker" or do I have to apply it manually (or is this done by NeoGamma/PostLoader ?

i really should learn how to code, i had this idea last night lol. keep the games stored on usb, copy to sd then launch, sure it would take a while to copy (10 minutes or so as the largest game is only 1.5GBs) but the convenience would be the awesome. it technically would be a "gamecube usb loader" in my eyes. i may have to look up postloader now! hopefully it can be implemeneted elsewhere.

I needed to add it for NTSC-J, I also applied it to PAL but I don't know if its needed there too, you'll need to see.

For now you have apply the patch manually. Applying it for all 3 versions of the game is on the TODO list.

When YOU say it's on the todo list do you mean for NeoGamma or for DML.

Is their ever going to be a release where you don't have to have a wii or gc game inserted? Was just wondering (And also that I can't seem to find any of my games in my 100s of disc )
