I use openoffice; downloading its japanese pack. mespak02 or so was quite funny, since it was a mixture of random japanese, chinese, and korean. But that may come out better with openoffice. Here's hoping.

But is Tree refering to a tree you have to cut down? Or as in the Digivoluition Tree?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Comparing it to a FAQs, it seems to be for the Digivolution Trees.
I'm on page 56/285 at the moment. There are still some characters I can't get translated due to my obvious lack of language translating abilities and because tools like to... Mix things up, I guess. Any help on the Japanese text would be grateful <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />
I haven't peaked at any of the others yet. Names and junk seem to be fairly simple for the time being but if this is to be a full translation some MUST know how to translate full sentences lol
EDIT: If it helps, I know lines 0:509-0:511 say something about Numemon but I have no clue as to what @_@
EDIT: For names, I tried my best in searching for their actual English names (ex. Taking Ruchemon and turning it to Lucemon)
Need Translations still:
-0:481 to 0:489
-0:507 to 0:511

Best of luck to ya. Do you use OpenOffice because you don't have Windows?
I use openoffice because its legally free, actually. Plus it can open any microsoft office file. In any case, installing its language pack worked perfectly, and now I can actually edit these files.
Some of that stuff you were wondering about:
CODE
{{
???????? - Kajua nii-san. you'd probably just say Kajua
}}
{{
???????? - Except that this says Kajua nee-san, and is therefore the female version of the one above.
}}
{{
??????? - These I'd say Level/Rank * Tamer
}}
{{
???????? - Bro numemon (sibling/brother/bro), followed by others in the numemon family
}}

Thanks! I had a feeling that it said Level/Rank Tamer but I wasn't too sure. I'll be sure to fill them in now. What is the meaning of Kajua or should I just place it as it is?
EDIT: So I started on mespak02, and realised that digimon characters talk strangely. Probably won't be an issue, since I can get some help with it easily enough, but it makes things slightly difficult.
Just to update ya... I'm on page 138/285 of MESPACK00 and plan on ending today at 150 or further if I'm motivated tonight.
There are still some translations I'm not capable of understanding or getting but when I get close to being done or finish with what I can I'll upload it. The majority of the text seem to be names of characters, Digimon, items, and etc. but for certain ones like:
"えんげつげり"
I get different things in different software that make no sense to me @_@
Maybe tomorrow I'll post up some more I wasn't able to translate so someone else can do it and I'll just add it in.
EDIT: Lol I didn't even bother to ask if it mattered what I was doing... I just figured I may help and start from the beginning.
EDIT: After searching a lot and then finally just typing in google "What does engetsugiri mean?" I got the name of a movie which had that as a subtitle. The translated subtitle was Full Circle Killing, which sounds about right; giri definitely means cut/kill, and getsu is moon and generally round.

Gahhhh I underestimate the powers of Google! >_<
Sometimes I find exactly what I need and other times I seem to get nothing that I'm capable of understanding

Here's what I got through today though.... Whenever you get the chance, you'll be able to see which parts I were able translate, attempt to translate, or fully translate.
At this point the Digimon names should be 100% although there might be a few (not sure) that are mixed between their Jap. and English names even though it's not a huge issue at this point.... Digi Egg names should be 100% also. My eyes are dragging right now so I'll just pick up from where I left off, in the morning <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />
Edit: Nevermind.... There were too many codes for one "codebox" lol

According to a Vampire Ninja whose only abillity is Swallow Reversal (Tsubame gaeshi) we may now know some of what this means. I'm thinking this is Swallow Double Reversal?

Thanks, it seems plausible. Might it be similar to this also? http://www.toyamaryu.org/CuttingVideo.htm#Nami%20Gaeshi (Wave Cut)
It is an attack, btw (I put it in a search ox on a jap. digi site but it still translate to nothing i can understand)
I recently found a list of Traits so I'll be filling in those I couldn't translate and fixing those that need to be
Well, gaeshi is almost certainly cut, then. It might almost be easier to figure out which digimon it belongs to, and then look at the official translations of the previous games.
Yeah, I'll upload it to Mediafire in a bit after I finish what I can on this page....
I'll edit this post in a few minutes with what I was able to get
EDIT:
This is what I have of MESPAK00 so far. "MESPAK00continued" is the one I've been doing. Just to note, There are bits (leading up to where I'm at now) that aren't translated because I couldn't get proper or full translations for them.
I'll keep going at it now though.
If anyone is willing to... Feel free to correct what you see or translate what you can, I recommend at least trying or giving a glance
-----------------------------------
EDIT2:
For some reason I have to choose which encoding now in Microsoft Word 2010... So if someone downloads and has this same issue:
Check off "Other Encoding" and select, on the right, "Japanese (Shift-JIS)"
I'll do more on this later since I've been so into and got no sleep lol
--------------------------------------
EDIT3: http://www.mediafire.com/?7b793c5bbkzk7i4 (old link)
I didn't get to do much today because of my own school work and computer issues... But this should be up to page 230/285 and some fixes on some older stuff. The fixes or changes are listed in the extra document in case you need it.
I should be done with, what I'm capable of doing, by sometime tomorrow or Tuesday depending on the school work I have
I just made this this afternoon: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ap...uthkey=COf0vYcC
It is a chart of text rips of the attacks from Digimon Story, Digimon World, Digimon Story Moonlight, Digimon World Dawn and Digimon Lost Evolution. They've been sorted by the Japanese. While you might not want to use some of the translations from Digimon Story, it looks like Moonlight/Sunburst/Dawn/Dusk used quite a few of the same attacks and even has the same "amount" of attacks in it. So you can see quite a few of the "official" translations from the games with the original Japanese to compare.
?????????????is a skill of Weregarurumon and is a kick which appears to draw a moon shape.
???????????????????is a skill of Buraimon. Its originator is ???, a sword technique most famously used by Sasaki Kojirou.
There's still a bit scattered and most notably towards the end that I couldn't get translated but, as I said before, someone should probaly look through it and see what they can do with it also.
I'm going to look through the next "MESPACK" in a bit to see if there's some more simple stuff that can be translated.
Yeah, I can see that lol
I'm able to translate a good amount for the time being but there's still some stuff I'm skipping over. Most notabl a few of the questions, a bunch of statements, and other text lines that include ^0,^1, and ^P in them which I don't want to mess up since I don't really know what they're for....
