Hacking Difference between LT 2.0 and 3.0

I picked up a cheap old Hitachi drive console, I think I can only put LT 2.0 on it? So then what can`t I do versus having 3.0

EDIT...so if I put the newest dashboard on what the difference between the 2 firmwares

Basically LT 3.0 is safer on AP2.5 enabled drives.

And it has something to do with the LT Max firmware (iHAS drives)

is 3.0 just made more for online use to guard against the newer protection on new games?
but using 2.0 offline shouldn`t make a difference? in playing new games

Its even funnier if you knew what type of work I do, but I don`t think you can use it in every profession

Well it depends on your dashboard obviously.

But if your drive supports LT 3.0 then flash that to the drive.
No need for older firmwares ofcourse.

But iirc it had to do something with the LT Max burner.
Anyway both firmwares support XGD3 games.
