PS4 only recognizes USB 3.0 USB drives, not USB 2.0 USB drives

Hello everyone, recently my PS4 only recognizes USB 3.0 USB drives and does not recognize USB 2.0 USB drives. What can I do?

The USB 2.0 USB drive is functioning normally on the PC

not sure on that one. I do not know if a usb 2.0 drive will work with exporting save data, but extended storage or installing requires 3.0, probably since 2.0 is simply too slow.

btw, there will be an error that will popup if you plug in a usb 2.0 in those situations.

I still use flashdisk 2.0 to backup save with appollo sometimes
My flashdisk for jailbreak also 2.0

Yeah you can’t use 2.0 for extended storage, but you can for saves and media like videos/screenshots.
