So I have a PS3 Slim model 2004A on Rebug 4.80 right now, and it doesn't have the Epilepsy Warning message that shows up when it's turned on. I used to have a non-hackable PS3 Slim 3000 series model, and it has the message. I'm here to just ask: Which models have an Epilepsy Warning message and which models don't? What are the internal and external differences between Epilepsy Warning PS3s and non-Epilepsy Warning PS3s? Can non-Epilepsy Warning PS3s still be customized in a way that involves custom coldboot, custom XMB modifications, etc.?

I have a Brazilian/American SuperSlim model and an American CECHL Fat model and neither of them have epilepsy warnings.

I have a 3.41 PS3 (still OFW) CECH2504B.

I didn't know they added that message to PS3 too. I's so annoying to read it on PS4 at each boot, I wish there were an option to hide it :(
same for the warning message each time you launch a PSVR title.

Sorry for bumping a old thread, but when I am on the latest Rebug I get no epilepsy warning. When I downgrade to 4.65 Rebug I get the warning.

Nah mods just get mad updating this kinda stuff sometimes. Back too the original topic.
Anyways, both Ferrox 4.80 and Rebug 4.80 on my hacked PS3 don't have the message, while my previous unhackable 3000-series PS3 had the message. Why are you saying that the latest Rebug has no message but 4.65 has the message? I don't understand everything, just most of it.

My slim is a model CECH-2501A. I noticed on the latest Rebug 4.80.1 it doesn't have the message, but if I downgrade to 4.65 the message is back. Idk maybe it was. He said he was on Ferrox and it was gone too though.

slim CECH-2002B, bought retail in NZ, hasn't been hacked since the days of the USB microcontroller boards. sitting on OFW 4.something, has had the epilepsy warning for as long as I can remember.
