After using Safe A9LH installer on my 2ds, i probably missed some files or something and it keeps booting to safe a9lh installer everytime i turn on my ds. if i turn it on without the sd card it just turns back off. i already pressed full install but it keeps booting up to the same screen. it also says press start to only update stage 2 but idk what that means.

You need to replace arm9loaderhax.bin with a different payload. Preferably one for a boot manager or for a custom firmware.

After installing/updating A9LH, you can put back your cfw files back as it looks like you are booting directly from SafeA9LH's .bin file.

Presumably, by continuing to follow whatever guide you used to get a9lh set up.
i used pialect's guide except my 2ds doesnt boot into cfw sysnand
  1. "Exploiting arm9" should be nearly instant, if you get stuck restart and try again
  2. Select Full Install
  3. The installer will now install arm9loaderhax on your device (this is very fast)
  4. Your 3DS should reboot into CFW SysNAND. If you get a black screen, follow this troubleshooting guide.

You should probably copy the latest AuReiNand files as directed in the guide. That will ensure you aren't missing anything on accident.
